Sarah was born and raised in Le Havre, Normandy, France. It is there, like Claude Monet, that she found her artistic roots and developed a profound appreciation for the interplay of color and light.
Inspired by her town's resilience and reconstruction efforts post WWII*, Sarah's art is a celebration of new beginnings, each piece bearing the mark of her unique perspective. With a passion for capturing fleeting moments and emotions, she paints with a resonating tonality —the raw energy of a flamenco dancer, the fiery brilliance of Normandy sunsets, the tranquil majesty of coastal trees.
Drawing from her childhood wonder at ancient art, Sarah “sculpts” her canvases, infusing them with texture and depth. From sand to recycled materials, each element is carefully chosen to stir emotions and spark imagination in the viewer.
In Sarah's world, art is not just about what you see but where you stand to experience it—a warm invitation to immerse yourself in the depth or beauty of the moment.
*The center of Le Havre was rebuilt in modernist style by Auguste Perret and designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 2005.
