Tentacles 1  (SOLD)

My sisters and I grew up on the coast of Normandy.  The beach was our playground. As a child, armed with a plastic shovel, I would harvest jellyfish stranded on the sand and lay them down on dikes; secretly hoping that over night they would dry and become beautiful, transparent jewels...

Tentacles is my “grown-up” way to capture the jewel likeness of these mesmerizing and macabre ballet dancers.
