I have a profound admiration for dancers and athletes. The discipline, the sacrifice, the passion, the strength, the beauty.  I fell in love with Flamenco during a business trip to Spain. There they were, extraordinary women opening old wounds, stomping over a broken heart.  Painful memories never felt so prized, so revived, than when watching these chiaroscuro living tableaux.

La Flamenca symbolizes “amor y dolor” (love and pain). She reminds us that we can experience love and loss and still grow…stronger!
